Meet the Interior Designer

Interior Designer: Diana Carter

Diana Carter is a design coordinator and interior designer who owns di’s Design in Leawood, Kan., and is a partner in A HOMErun LLC. Over the course of her 12-year career, Diana has won several prestigious interior design awards and received local and national acclaim for her unique interior design talent. She has been featured in Better Homes & Garden magazine, showcased for the complete restoration of a decayed solarium and bathroom in Romantic Homes magazine and designed a spec home for HBA’s Spring Parade with Ambassador Homes in the Cedar Creek community. These awards and recognition continuously inspire her to be innovative and creative with her rare style of mixing colors and materials.

Diana has dedication not only to design but also to various charitable organizations. Over the past several years, she has been an avid supporter and member of charitable design teams: the Medical Missions, a life-saving operation to underprivileged children in foreign countries; and reStart, an agency that helps the homeless receive caring hospitality and become independent and self-sufficient citizens. Also, Diana is the co-founder of the Jumpin’ with Joe Foundation Inc., a nonprofit entity dedicated to promoting strong character, academic potential and sportsmanship to economically disadvantaged youth in urban communities across the country.
